September 7 Happy Metallurgist Day!
On this special day, we extend our recognition and gratitude to all metal workers who, with their skill and dedication, contribute to strengthening the Argentine metal industry day after day.
Because today? Because we remember the birth of Luis Beltrán, a passionate metallurgist born on September 7, 1784 in San Juan. This brave man not only forged pieces of metal, but was also part of our nation’s history. In the foundries, he produced cannons, grenades and bullets that were used in the fight against the Spanish in El Plumerillo, giving the first foundations to our sovereign national industry.
